Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co Ltd (JEVIC) is a Japanese registered company and has been involved in pre-shipment inspections / certification of used vehicles in various forms since 2001. ISO/IEC 17020:1998 International Accreditation, the highest standard for an Inspectorate providing assurance, quality of inspection and an accurate impartial result.
In 2005 JEVIC was accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17020:1998 General Criteria for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection. JEVIC is believed to be the first Japanese Company to be accredited to this high International Standard and first in the world for used vehicle inspections.
Accreditation can only be granted after exacting IANZ assessment against international standards ISO/IEC 17020:1998 for inspection services and includes on-site assessment by industry experts. With ISO/IEC 17020:1998 accreditation you are being assured of complete confidence in both documentated systems & technical competence. Inspections completed by JEVIC that are covered under this accreditation include: Odometer Verifications, Structural Damage and Biosecurity.
